Beginners Sewing Class - Craft Collective

Learn essential sewing skills in a safe, inclusive and friendly space. Lessons inlude: how to use and care for a sewing machine, how to read a sewing pattern, how to make bags, cushions, clothes and art. 

After a great 1st course, we are running our 2nd ‘Complete Beginners Sewing Course’ for refugee and asylum seeking women. It will run every Saturday from 10am -12 or 1pm for 9 weeks. The extra 1 hour, 12-1 we are trialling as a less formal time and will include the women who have already completed the first beginners course. 

We do have a budget to cover bus tickets for those who need it but unfortunately we do not have any creche facilities. There are only 6 places available so if you have anybody interested than please contact Angie as soon as possible:
