Welcome Hub Volunteers Training - Session 1, Afternoon 11th Oct

Bridges are delighted to be able to offer training for those volunteering at Welcome Hubs across the city.

Over two 1.5 hour sessions, we’ll cover a range of topics including cultural awareness and culture shock, an introduction to the hub model and role of volunteers, trauma and wellbeing, boundaries and confidentiality, and ways to signpost towards other support available here in Bristol.

We hope it will better equip you to be part of Bristol’s response to the war in Ukraine and enable you to help build a welcoming space for those fleeing here for safety.

Participants must attend both sessions 1 and 2, but can choose when they do so. Please register in advance and we will send you a Zoom link ahead of the session.
