TBT/ Throwback Thursday... For the next four weeks, we will share a story from a Bridges event from over the years. This week we want to share this video of the Young Bridge Builders exchange trip from 2013.
Bridges for Communities invited eight students and young adults from Amman, Jordan, to spend ten days in the UK -- visiting Bristol, Nottingham, Cardiff, and London. The trip involved a number of activities -- from meeting the Lord Mayor of Bristol, to volunteering with the Arches Project in Nottingham, to enjoying a feast on the beach in Wales with a group from Cardiff Student Action for Refugees -- and was focussed primarily on building friendships with people in the UK.
